I rode 40 miles yesterday in 30+ mph winds. It kicked my ass and I wanted to cry like a biotch. WHAHHHHHH.

For what it is worth (not much), I consulted Urban Dictionary to determine whether I wanted to cry like a "biatch" or a "biotch." Tough call, but I went with biotch. When in doubt, consult the Urban Dictionary.

I developed a blister on my middle toe as a result of yesterday's long run. It now hurts like a MOFO and I'm limping around the office. Waaaahhh. I have to cancel my run for today. Double waaaahhh. Can't wait to get back home and burst it so I can carry on.

Bruised and black toenail hurts to walk on, so I will probably be struggling during my brick today, also my feet no longer look good in sandals, but they do look rugged.

I got to work 5 minutes later than usual and some fairweather rider took my spot. I had to break my back getting to my lock underneath their old beast.

Lost my Light & Motion VIS180 on the ride to work this morning, it popped off somewhere along the way. I'm a dirtbag cheapskate spendthrift skinflint with bike gear and actually purchased a nice piece of new equipment and it immediately goes and takes a flyer. Damnit, that'll teach me to buy anything quality. Now to negotiate the crazy Ontario and Quebec drivers without my rear light, might as well jump off a bridge.

Two races into this season and I've been killing it. PR'd for marathon and HIM distances. I've been having problems over the last two weeks with my left foot so I went to the doc. Pain and sensitivity to cold (have had this as long as I can remember)

xrays showed no fractures, but showed bone spurs (yes plural) and arthritis. so I'm off to see a podiatrist May 3rd.

she also did a batch of blood work which all came back good except high potasium and an "enzyme" that she didn't define at the time but wants more blood next week.

I'm 41 and on top my my game physically, I'm too young for arthritis...WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
