Got up early, saw an amazing sunrise, then went for a hike with a friend. Her husband and baby came along and they were great company. I came home and fell asleep on the couch. Had planned on going to an open house but it was ended early because the host wasn't feeling well. So, watched a bunch of episodes of Mad Men.

A friend gave me nail polish in Christmas colors earlier in the week. Nothing under my tree and only the niece and nephew got presents from me. I have a small family.

Not a bad day. Didn't feel like Christmas but that's ok. Hopefully next year I'll be in a place where I can give, and get, lots of presents :-)

Christmas morning sunrise:

I agree - beautiful sunrise! A hike and a nap sound good.
