Objective line seems like wasted space to me - if you're going to have it, expand on the interests and\or abilities that might be relevant to what ever job you're applying for. Otherwise it sort of reads like, "I'm not sure what I want to do, but I promise I'll work hard."

Academic Education - Not being from the USA, I have no idea what A.S and A.A or B.S means in this context. Is it common knowledge there? Would a recruiter know if they read your resume? If not, expand.

Scholastic achievements - What do you gain from putting the $ amount of the scholarships?

Work Experience - Can you break it down chronologically? Clerk Feb 2008 - August 2008 etc to Supervisor Sept 2010 to Present - with most impressive\relevant position first to be read.
If you're applying for Supervisor roles, how many times will people read past the "Shipping Clerk" line?

There are a lot of issues with this resume and while my experience is limited to my own resume construction I think turning to the masses is a great idea.

Have you heard of Bountyit.com? you can put your resume on there and get constructive feedback for a reasonable price ($5 or whatever you choose). The idea is by creating an incentive people will give constructive feedback in order to earn the bounty because you get to choose who gets all or part of it. I encourage you to put it on the site but if you aren't interested I understand.

Get rid of the objective portion. What did you do in college? elaborate. Half my resume goes into how i was involved in various activities and teaching assistant positions. Overall your resume is bland and needs livening up.

"bland and needs livening up" - not going to argue with you. But how would you suggest livening up a resume?

I'll look into that website tomorrow

I would mostly echo the comments posted earlier, but here it is in my words:

-Get rid of the objective; many people "teach" using that, but I think it is a waste unless you are very specific. You should be writing a cover letter to a job anyways and that is far more detailed and covers the same idea.

-You have supervisory experience; you need to sell this! Not everyone has this and with your other experience being limited this should be highlighted more and not placed last as your work experience.

-Did I read that right that you got your Masters? If so, that should certainly be spelled out and highlighted more.

-General rule is always talk about acoomplishments, how you improved something, how you lead...so always try and word things from that point of view versus just talking about what "tasks" you completed. Of course, if the jobyou are applying for is more task oriented than you could highlight that you have experience in those specific areas.

Good luck with it and I think reaching out is a great idea...use as many people/resources as you can to fine tune the resume!

Honestly formatting has a lot to do with a resume. I recruited at a career fair a couple a months ago and I can tell you I scanned resumes in 30 seconds and the ones with the best formatting showing me the relevant information quickly were the ones that i focused on the most. The reason I bring it up is because I am having a hard time reading it in the slowtwitch format. Can you post a link to a word document?
