So while reading through todays IMLP race coverage I noticed the following...
Top male AG swim split...10 minutes and change by a 61 year old!
Top male AG bike split...4:17!

Yeah, I know :-)

I was just posting this in another thread:

The online results are now useless. I am watching 2 friends and there are no run splits. The T1 time is like 44 minutes and the swim time is 33 minutes which makes me believe that they included half of the swim time in the T1 time.

I wonder if the 'no wetsuit' swim had a hand in screwing up the results. They sent us thru two different arches at the start and that had to cause some mishaps with how the splits calc'd.

2.4 miles in 10 minutes- easy if you have a canoe.

So Rich, how'd you do? Other than the blonde hottie thing ;-)

Did you throw down an insane run split?

I'm at the pub, will happily keep your AmZof mug full for ya - you earned it.

PS - I'm the sunburned white guy.

Sorry to hear about the tough day in the office Mike.
But I hear ya on leaving IM for the masses. I'm done too.

Thankfully we can get plenty of great experiences locally.
In fact, today I did a 3 bridge century that took me past Mohonk - Bear Mtn/Newburgh Beacon/Mid Hudson.
And it was FREE!

See you on the road.

Run split started out insane..a little too insane apparently. Was on a 2:50ish pace for awhile and felt like I was running easy but that changed about 3mi into loop 2. I should have been smarter about it but you know how it goes when you're feelin good.

Just came back up from the race but will be back down in a bit. I'll try and swing by the pub.

I was wondering the same-looking through results this morning, there are no run splits or finish times for almost half my friends that were there.

I apparently nailed a 0:00 split for the last portion of the bike and also for the entire run. I though that my shoulders were burned from the sun, but it might just be from moving through the atmosphere so infinitely fast!
