I moved this year so planning a long term schedule has been very difficult. So far the only firm race that I have on the horizon is Bonelli Olympic distance triathlon on June 11th. Since I am new to California I will look around to see what else I can do. I am really hoping to do a half iron distance in Sept! Anyhow Good Luck with your races!

I still focusing on ultras this year with some mountain biking thrown in. So far my schedule includes:

June 11-12- Midwest Women's Mountain Bike Camp
June 19 - Xterra Torn Shirt (if I find my big girl panties by then)
July 30 - Minnesota Voyagueur 50 Miler
August - Another Xterra - I haven't decided between Illinois Wilds, Logansport or Sheboygan
October 9 - Glacial Trail 50 Miler (goal is a 1.5 hour PR)

I'll also likely head out to AZ to pace at Javelina or maybe run the 100K. I had hoped to run the 100 miler there but my coach wants me to focus a bit on speed this year so I am going with that.

My big race is already done for this year - IMNZ back in March (thank god) - so I'm focusing on running more....

- Victoria Sprint (June 19th)
- Vashon Island Xterra (first Xterra!!! Mid-July) or Squamish OLY
- Bellingham Bay Marathon (Sept 25th)
- VERY MUCH A MAYBE: Whistler 50miler (Nov - yeah NOV! Yuck!)

and a handful of 5/8/10/21.1k running races.... gotta get my leg speed back somehow!

Hoping to BQ at Bellingham. End goal in ~2-3yrs is Comrades.

  • My big race for the year is a 12 hour ultra in August. in WA state. Did 47 miles there last year, shooting for 50+ this year.
  • Will likely do the Seattle Marathon in November, shooting for PR.
  • If I can find a marathon in July that isn't a massive race. This would be training for 12 hour so not as worried about PR.
No triathlons for me. Will probably volunteer at one or two as I usually do.

Magic Mountain Man is October 9.

As soon as I get my act together, I will register for IM Cozumel soon.

Shoot, the one weekend that won't work for me. I can always do my own but it is fun to have company occasionally.

July 30th- Vineman 1/2 aquabike (love to swim and bike, hate to run)

As a 4 person team. All female. We are Team Ride Red. Our website will nave streaming video during the day(ridered.org) as will our Facebook page(fan us). After 21 months of planning, I can't believe it's almost here. Bikes leave for Cali this week:/

Btw, our crew is awesome! It takes a very special person to crew for RAAM. 20mph on a bike cross country,ok...........20 mph in a vehicle following a bike, no way!!!! Hardest job ever...........

No tris, only bike racing. No big goals this year, just working on getting back into mass start reading on the road.

I just left that part of the country and arrived in Las Vegas on Thursday. My big races are IM Canada and IM Arizona, but with my new zip code, I have to figure out where to ride a bike that has sufficient water for me not to wither and blow away while training...
