No, but if that is the impression it gives, I'm all for it!

It's an older Renn disk which I scuffed and primed then blocked out most of the texture. I then painted it a tricoat pearl. With some creative use of my truing stand I Painted the spinart effects. (the silver doesn't really show that well head on, but pops out when viewed from an angle). I put a couple more coats of pearl on the drive side (this muted it a bit) and left the spinart a bit more vivid on the other. Each side got three coats of clear. I still need to flat sand and polish it a bit, but I'll wait till all that material cures.

Thanks for all of the comments. It is also a bike that makes me laugh, but wow it has great ride. It is also good to use to go out riding with someone who rides slower than me. They could be on a road or tri bike with 100psi 23mm tires and then (with this bike) I get to get a good workout to just ride with them at their speed. And, yes, it will be ridden in the snow too. But any bike ridden on snow and ice needs real traction, so that means I will be picking up some MTB 29er-sized snow chains before I get out on the slippery stuff.

That is the best looking and most unusual disc wheel paint job I've seen. It is a one-of-a-kind. Very cool.

What width tire are you using in the rear? Do you think it will take a Hed C2 or Zipp Firecrest?

Hi,
I'm running a 23mm front / rear.
um.. in my blog post on the rear wheel, there's a top-down view, which will give you an idea of the amount of room on the rear stays.. here: http://anotherdooratthe.endoftheinternet.org/...eel-5-minute-review/

I can take other pics for you if needed.

The cover graphic doesn't look very impressive in your photo.

But in the video, Wow !!

Lovely Cervelo.. very nice.. :)
Do you find any flex in the back end with the trailer? .. I must say, that's an exceptionally classy ride to toe a tag-along trailer with. :)

Thanks, its a 2009 but I bought it new last summer. My first tri bike. yeah... FSA 50/34. I took the stock saddle off cuz it made my crotch numb... after a few adjustments ive got it dialed in and I love it.

If you can send pics of the clearance between the chain-stays, seat stays, and frame to hdn0380@yahoo.com, that would be great.
