that was funny, but if you look at his flicker account you can see that the blue or teal is a result of the flash from the camera.

I am guessing you know that though :)

No I didn't, and it would have gotten in the way of a good quip.

Planet X frame? What kind of cable housing did you use?

The first pic of the arm rest brackets was when everything was on the PX although the second pic shows them in their final place on my Argon frame. Once the Argon was finished and I'd taken all of the kit off the PX that I wanted including the Easton bars, the PX was put back together with a 105/Ultegra mix, a few pimp parts and sold on Ebay for a song.

Anyway to your question. The cable housings are Goodridge and available from chainreactioncycles.com

I use the clear coated version that shows the stainless weave really well. They also do a translucent carbon (grey) that just about shows the weave or an opaque white. They are very well made with good quality ferrules and fittings and the pre-stretched inners really are, so allow for that when fitting. They are crease resistant and on the Argon work fine with the internal cable routing.

I train with the extra weight. Race day I have 1 rear bottle, the speed bottle, and will use another speed bottle between the aerobars.

Don't be silly. That's a lot of bike right there. If you aren't fast on that bike, you need look no further than the sludgy engine sitting atop that nice white saddle! ;-)

Seriously, that bike is a better triathlon bike than the ones I rode for the first 12 or 13 years of my tri career. Heck, I'd even put it above my old QR Private Reserve.

They are fantastic...In the last couple years i've ridden HED 90s (IMNZ 09), Zipp 404 & 808 (Kona 09), and a Tri Spoke with a Zipp disc (IMNZ 10)....but i prefer the FF's.

Just finished building this bike use in 2011. Rode an aluminum P3 last year. Just did my fastest 20K ever, in training last week, so at least I didn't get any slower.

I love it. It was one hell of an upgrade from the Scattante road conversion I was riding. :D

Here is my 2010 Kestrel Airfoil. I got the frame as a warranty replacement for a failed road bike. Trisports in Tucson built it and fitted me last week. Only 10 miles on it so far but it rides great.
