This is going with me to my 1st ironman (IMOO). I've yet to cut the fork and trim the cables but I'm going to wait to do that when it's cold outside. The 140.6 sticker is courtesy of another board member. I've put a small IN TRAINING sticker underneath.

I had a bad fork and cut the carbon steer tube off and in half, notch it for the top of the seat and seat post area.Drilled holes to connect the cage and holes for the zip ties.

Built the Aegis earlier this year. Just finished the Opera today - not a single mile on her yet.

Not sure if I ever put my bike in this thread or not........it would take me an hour to go back thru all the bikes to check :0 This thread should get locked and start a new one for 2011 :)

Anyway 2009 Felt DA I purchased off the ST classifieds. Took some photos since I'm selling the wheels and thought I might as well post it up here. Once I get the new wheels on I'll have to update the photo (going to a disc rear, trispoke front). Can't say I have a single complaint about the bike itself although I wish I had the extra cash to bling out the front with a carbon aero bar set up.

Before you comment understand:
1) Bike has not been fitted. Spacers and excess cable routing to be removed shortly and bars cut to size
2) Disk wheel is on its way, I bought this for TT so wheelcover is a no no
3) 404's are not inflated in this picture - this can explain the gap between the back tire and frame
4) This bottle cage will likely be changed shortly - I just needed something to hold my drink during workouts.
5) This bike is pretty sick I can't wait until Spring to take it out.

"ascetics" may have been a freudian slip, given the definition of that word.

But I think you meant aesthetics.

Does the DA version come with S-Bend Aura extensions? Stock pics show ski bend. Mine should be here sometime in January/February!
