How about taking out an ad like a legit company?

I have no problem at all with this being in this forum. DeSoto and I believe Infinit promotes specials from time to time, Bikesport MI used to, and there are others as well, I'm sure. As long as the subject line is clear (and this one is, although maybe we could loose the all-caps) then just don't open the thread if you don't like it.

I'm a Planet X owner. WHY DOES PLANET X KEEP AVIODING A QUESTION THAT HAS BEEN ASKED TWICE ABOUT THE STACK AND REACH NUMBERS FRAMES. THIS IS A CRITICAL BIT OF INFORMATION NEEDED BY ANYONE WANTING TO PURCHASE A FRAME.

If you own one...why not measure your own damn frame? Critical...that is funny.

I'm glad he posted here since I don't read the classifieds and I bought a pair of wheels (as did a friend I told about the deal).

I do cause its spam, plain and simple. And worse is spame IN THE WRONG FORUM. That's like spam squared. Worse, its not even that good a deal. So spam squared + not good deal.

Saying Bikesport did something, not a ringing endorsement BTW.

So unless you want to wade through tons of spam in the Tri forum, don't support spammers.

Hint- check out Ebay if you want this stuff cheaper. And you can put your own decals on it.

I wasn't commenting on whether this was a good marketing approach or not, simply that this approach is accepted for select vendors (DeSoto, Infinit, for example), but not, apparently, for others.

For what it's worth, I've bought things off of DeSoto's "Blatant Ads" posted to the main forum and will seriously consider betting a Planet X frame for my wife because I saw this one. So for this individual, the tactic works.

Victor

I've been keeping an eye on the UK site for 82/101's for a friend and just spent $650 of her christmas bonus.

I've also eyed a complete bike after being impressed while building hers and seeing how nice a bike it was,
and the deal wasn't bad either: 899 pounds (when it was lower)=$1350 for a complete Ultegra bike, unbuilt.

Now she'll have a complete PX setup. Thanks for posting this on ST.

Thanks for being a Planet X owner...we appreciate your business. For you, and others, we have "finally" created the following Stack & Reach table for the Planet X Stealth frameset. I hope this is helpful to you and others.

Frame Size Stack Reach
X-Small 47.5 38.0
Small 49.0 39.6
Medium 50.6 40.7
Large 52.3 41.8
X-Large 53.6 42.9

What's the shipping to Toronto, Ontario, Canada?

I've got the order page open and am considering the wheels.

Happy to...as long as there isn't a distributor in your country. PM me with your address and I'll quote shipping.

It's dangerous to actually give my opinion (i've found). Anyway...my top 2 are the Continental Competition or the Vittoria Corsa EVO CX

Thanks for the consideration. I've done some research for you. USPS Priority Mail is $41.75, FedEx Ground is $32.85
These, of course, were estimates not knowing your exact address, but it should be within a few dollars one way or the other.

Does it come with a cassette or do you have to order that separately?
How do I fill it? I need the valve extenders right?

The website says the Carbon 50 Clinchers will ship December 12th. Are they currently in stock? I am from Toronto, but will be in Florida from Dec 18 to Dec 30 and want to have them shipped to me while I am in Florida to avoid duty issues.

No problems at all. Our shipment has arrived, and will be in our warehouse this Thursday, the 10th. We'll send them wherever you need!!

Absolutely. We recommend the Tufo Extreme Tape.

Would you recommend tape over glue? What glue would you recommend? And what valve extenders and size would you recommend (or something else)? Sorry for all the questions. I'm new to tubulars.
