I wanted to get an opinion on this bike. I am considering buying a woman specific bike and wanted to see if it was "worth it". I am looking for a road bike and think the 4.7 looks really cool. I looked at their measurements, it says shorter top tubes on women bike but doesn't 49.6 for the 47cm seem big? I am 5'4, I guess I am between a 47cm and a 50cm.

It IS shorter than the standard 51.0 cm that seems to be everybody else's shortest top tube length...
Is it short enough; only you can decide. I am 5'2" and have the same problem of reaching for everything on the bike. The other option after you test ride the Trek would be a custom frame.
