Interview Attire
Hello Friends,

I need a little help of figuring out what to wear to my interview tomorrow. I'm finishing my MPH and I am flying to the East coast to interview at a hospital on Wednesday. This is a hands-on but non-clinical position. It is a full day interview.

As far as my clothing selection goes, I have a wide range of options in the shirt/tie department. I will definitely be wearing dress pants/shirt/tie. Should I wear a suit/sportcoat? Do I go with a traditional white shirt and a basic tie, or a colored shirt and a matching tie?

Thanks in advance.

Here's my 2 cents... wear a suit with either a white or blue shirt. Make sure your tie is not too busy. Just make sure your shirt is pressed and stain free. lol

Keep it basic. White shirt with a basic tie. Don't want anything going crazy with your tie, just a basic design. Blue or gray suits are best. Black is too formal.

You can always take off your jacket and roll up your sleeves if needed, but if you're under dressed you can't put something else on.

What everyone else said.

Suit if you have a: navy or gray (muted patterns or pinstripes OK)
Shirt: White or light blue (solid)
Tie: reserved pattern (stripes & such) red is a good color
Shoes: cap toes are best, loafer style is OK
Belt: Dress belt w/ brass or silver buckle best

The following combo is a life long investment. Pretty much good for every event type except black tie.
