Don't let them talk smack about the white tires! They look great! I actually kind of want some now.

I HAD to buy a white tire a while ago in an emergency situation. It was nice for about 50 miles, then it got all dirty and looked like crap. That's why tires are supposed to be black.

One of the coolest bicycle pictures I have ever seen!!
I am not jealous of the bike; but the F-16 now that is some real speed!
Keep up the good work.

well i wear white shoes sometimes too!

i don't find the dirt issue that big a deal. i've had another pair of white tires (sides only obviously)...you give 'em a
wipe down every now and then and they stay pretty good. white bar tape gets dirty too, but i like the look of them and
i'm willing to deal with it. i suppose if i was ocd about dirt on my tires, i would skip the white ones.

it's all brightness and sunshine which serves as the balance to my black/grey soulless TT bike.

Yeah, I heard that, too. Tried it--didn't work for me. There are lots of fast triathlete/fighter pilots.

It's not as steep as you think. The angle that the pic is taken makes it look alot steeper than it is.

Is that a newer Specialized seat tube? I've only ever seen the ones that curve back slightly before intersecting with the seat.

The S=Works comes with two seatposts. The one pictured and then the one you are referring to. I have a shorter torso and longer legs - so this setup fits me better. I should also note than during the pre-fitting I was in between a medium size fram and a large. On the medium it fit better with the setback seta tube - the large the straight tube.

Incidentally, the SRAM red is a great look for this bike. Well done!

[/quote] I like it very much. A couple of King titanium cages and trimming the front brake cable end would finish it off very nicely.

goals, personal:

Unlike Zipp and HED there are truly very few frames that go well with those fine wheels- I find it refreshing to see it put together so well. Of course I could have written a quick negative comment instead...
