Bath Robe Shopping
Posted in Lavender Room, decided this might be a better place.

Ok, wife wants a new bath robe, must be soft, cotton, and purple. Current one is Turkish Cotton and probably 15 yrs old.

Looking for input, and hopefully a good price. Right now looking at about $100. http://www.fluenthome.com/...obe-purple-p-60.html

With something like a robe where feel is really important I'd go shopping for it in a real store. Not sure where you live but major department stores or even Victoria's Secret would be a good start. It is hard to judge quality if you don't know the brand so that's where shopping online might bite you.

Land's End has great stuff. Though their lavender looks more blue. Their customer service is good if you call them and ask them or tell them what you are looking for.

If you can get past the color selection, please see below. I am a semi-hero for finding this:

I hate big, fluffy robes. They make me feel like I'm wrapped in a towel. I'd go for something less bulky like this:
