In need of some eye candy...
I was looking in the other forum yesterday and noticed a handfull of "Dude look at this hot tri-chick" threads and thought to myself...where are the hot guy threads? Not that I am in NEED of manly eye candy, but it would be kind of nice. I'll be honest. I don't follow the pro circut too often and don't know too many of them. I would really appreciate some help in this direction :) The only guys I know are Macca, Faris, Norman, Peter Reid, Tim DeBoom, and Luke Bell. Can you tell I saw the IM documentary "What it Takes"? (Not that they all aren't very nice looking, but they just don't send me to that 13 year old girl crush, like I had on Johnny Depp in 21 Jump Street).

>>or a sprinter<<

Ah, yes. A track cycling sprinter. Riding my bike isn't the only thing I love about the velodrome....

This has been my problem! Pro Tri men are way too skinny. They may be fast. Cool. They may be sponsored. Cool. But I prefer a manly man. The "Nebraska farmer during the depression look" does not do it for me ;-)

Hockey player / triathlete now we are talkin' ;-))

funny....a few years ago I recall some of the ST womens (before the Womens forum) doing a post like this but all of them were only hot for tri guys. In fact, many said they'd never date a guy who didn't shave his legs. How times change

I'm on safari and can't post pics to this thread.

But, I miss Ian Thorpe. 6'4, size 16 feet, fast as hell? What's not to love?!

David Goggins. One of the badassiest ultrarunners out there. Navy Seal, 3rd at Badwater last year, frikkin amazing. I saw him run by last year during the race and he was beautiful to watch. Mile 50ish and he just flowed by.

Goggins is something else! I heard this was his last Badwater - he wants to focus on ultracycling in the future (maybe RAAM?). Have you heard anything like that? Probably just rumors....

we got eye candy all over town here locally, but as far as pros go... Andy Potts...ooooo...

saw the Olympic Trials this April... a handful of us went down and all us gals were just ddroooooling!! One of the guys with a camera took some interesting shots of him and forwarded them on to us. I'm sure he took some shots of the girls too and forwarded those to the guys.

I haven't heard that about Goggins. He is an incredible athlete and people don't know who he is. As far as I'm concerned he should be the poster boy for ultra running.

I'll see if I can get some pics or video of him next week. I'm not sure I have the guts to get my pic taken with him but we'll see.

I'm hoping to get some video of him and the other top people running. They are really amazing but him in particular :-) Maybe I can be his stalker for the week.
