Thanks for the tip. Perhaps I should get a move on quicker to make the trade up to this Cervelo R3 SL( see below). This was my loaner from the good folks at Edge Cyclery in Laguna Hills CA a short while ago. Thank you to Mary-Ann and Hank.
It's not my place, actually. Just a rental in Busselton. You are right about the disk and I have since taken care of the tape. The fork is getting cut down now.
It was a pretty good experience though I did it before the automation/database with the electronic fitting - and before those new paint jobs were ready. I was going for a P3C and then I tried a Guru that didn't fit me at all but the power transfer was incredible. There's just something about the way it rides. I tried a closer fit Guru and a P3C back to back several times and decided the Guru was what I wanted.
Just picked it up last week, spent a good bit of time today switching out the components. I bought the package bike because that's the only way to get the gray/black/white color scheme.
I still have to put on the race wheels, white saddle, white bar tape, and compact cranks to finish the makeover.
Why not just post from Firefox in OSX? That's the way I do it.... -------------------------------------------------------------------- "Lemond is cycling's version of Rev Jessie Jackson." -johnnyperu 5/18/07 "Just because I suck doesn't mean my bike has to" -rickn 9/2/08
I try to keep my computer running pretty lean, but since the pic was showing up yesterday and is now gone, I'll give it a shot.
Hmmm.. I'm not getting the advanced editor or the pics to show up with Firefox 3 beta 3. I can't even see the picture I've uploaded at the hosting site.
I think the forum software thinks my ride doesn't measure up...
Edit: I'm on a PC on travel, so I can fix the pic.
