I was hoping he'd be a 350lb. interior lineman, with that name.

I think Dick Trickle (former NASCAR driver) wins this one.

Beat me to it.

I was also surprised that his name was general. I thought it was a nickname.

Dick Butkis is an NFL legend.
Boobie Dixson was a Bills RB.
Turd Ferguson was a great SNL Jeopardy player.

Very unusual name, but I bet it gets shortened to G-Boot. Recently, I like how "Pat Bev" sounds.

Not an athlete, but the local vasectomy doctor here is named Richard Chop.

Of course we call him by the shortened name of Dick.

On the other side, gotta love the Brazilians who only use one name, this one especially

I always grin when they announce, "Ryan Succop coming in to attempt a kick."

(We've all worked with at least a few suckups.)

And Booty's parents should have gone with "Private" for the first name.

Not in anyway amusing like Dick Trickle or General Booty, I liked the name Joost van der Westhuizen. He was an absolutely ridiculous scrum half in his prime. Such a good player, died 5 years ago from ALS.

Then there's former German soccer player Bastian Schweinsteiger.

How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?

Washington had a kicker named Chris Blewitt, the missed kick headlines write themselves.

Don't forget former Lions DB, Harry Colon

How about pro cyclist Felix Grossschartner?

Yes, there are three esses in a row there. I get a kick out of listening to cycling commentators mispronounce it, although they're getting better as he becomes better known.
