We learned this morning that not enough girls signed up to field a 5/6 team so all the girls grades three through six will play on a single U12 team. My daughter is a somewhat unathletic third grader. We’ll see how this goes.

ufff. I hope they manage those games well to avoid the younger kids being completely left out. I envisage the older kids making any required passes between themselves and ignoring the younger kids. Hopefully she can still enjoy the experience, but you may have to manage her expectations and hopefully she will still enjoy it and carry on the sport.
