The earlier they call it the easier on the people involved. It takes a year to build one of the larger floats. I don’t see any parades happening for a while ( except maybe Trump’s inauguration.)

I haven't looked at the Mummers the same way since I say a guy wailing on his girlfriend on Walnut Street with a six-pack [he was holding it by the plastic rings]
