She always lets us have the hot sauce, we just have to go hat in hand and beg for it.... haven't you been paying attention?

Curious if anyone is making their own hot sauces from the garden. I've got a fermented Habanero garlic carrot sauce in the fridge (not bad for a first attempt) and a batch of mixed Tabasco/Jalapeno/Habanero fermenting this week.

My better half grows peppers and makes hot sauce every year. It has become a "hot" commodity amongst my son's friends.

We have a bumper crop of habanero and jalapeno peppers this year so I expect a pretty big batch.

What are you suggesting?

Your culinary contributions lead me to believe hot sauce is not something you use

Has nothing to do with him being Canadian

For store-bought, I like El Yucateco and this other kind that is a female name like Juanita's (might even be that)...I just know what the label looks like. Anyway, both of these brands have a line of various flavors, and I like to actually change it up from time to time and not eat the same hot sauce all the time. But I'm not picky about it and will pretty much use whatever sauce is offered if I'm at a restaurant or somebody's home or something like that.

While she could unilaterally ban hot sauce that's not really what I was talking about

I don't have a particular hot sauce that I use. However, I don't mind spicy food - within reason.

We sometimes use curry or peppers in adobo sauce. Not blazing hot, just a little spice.

So no contributions to the thread but the Queen does allow hot sauce in Canada.

How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?

I've got a jalapeno/habanero blend fermenting right now. Not sure what I will do when it is good and ripe. I did a mash ferment so it is pretty good just by itself.

Pactimo brand ambassador, ask me about promo codes

Perhaps but the fact they live under the thumb doesn't need to be overemphasized.
