With chain stripper there is no advantage to using an ultrasonic cleaner. We've tested the heck out of it and 10-15 minutes of soak and agitation in a jar followed by 2 clean rinses of water and it's 100% as good as if you had done it with ultrasonic.

Buying some now
So just follow that process and then put in the crock pot with your wax correct?

Nicely played Josh@Silca. Wining the upselling game. Now just need to explain the $80 I spent on strippers to my wife.

[/url]I forgot I created this post several years ago.
I have now been waxing my chain for 1-2 years using the Silca hot wax and chain lube. I have 4 chains (one only for racing) that I wax 2 at a time in an InstantPod. I follow the advice from all the awesome Silca videos they have on YouTube and can wax chains easily and quickly after some practice. I swap chains when I clean my bike around every 200 miles.
I use the chain lube if I ride in the rain or am traveling and don’t have time to fully clear my bike before my next ride. I find the chain lube does get my drivetrain dirty when I ride with it vs the hot wax where my drivetrain stays more clean. I use the gear wipes to clean chain if needed in between waxes or before using the chain lube.
