Yes the loss of a pet is usually much harder than the loss of a family member (other than a parent or child). I too, (as many before here have stated), the loss of a pet is massive. I offer up my thoughts, respects, and condolences to you.\

I know the effect of the loss, been there, done that.... Sucks, but will get better with time.
