Hey Dr_C, thanks for checking in; AND, right back atcha - what can we do for you?

I'm doing pretty well today (a change from the last couple of days). I'm really trying to limit my news consumption and that helps. It also helps that the grocery store was pretty normally stocked today. I am making a vegetarian moussaka as a project (tm). Let's see how it turns out.

It looked amazing! Hope it tasted as good too :) One of the things we've been working on is REALLY thoughtful meal planning and prep, so we not only have zero food waste but also don't have to do groceries as much.

I'm sorry, it's such a shit position to be in. Are the contractors and construction companies working right now where you are, or have things halted?

Would it help if we could be accountabilibuddies for you and your workouts? Zwift meetups?

I've been doing okay. It's been a pretty somber week. I've been responsible for canceling my cycling club's rides until further notice, and trying to establish a new normal right now. For some reason, every morning I've been waking up at 4am like I'm trying to stifle a scream or my heart is pounding. I think it's the underlying anxiety with all the uncertainty and stress right now, but it's not manifesting in real time. So sleep, I need better sleep. I also need a better dry land swim workout than what I've been given because it's just silly.

Well, add death in the family to this whole mess. My husband’s uncle passed last night. With zero way to rally with everyone for the foreseeable future. Fuck fuck fuck fuck.
