I've always said if today is your day to shine you failed 364 times. My wife gets regular flowers and we have a candy shop on my way home that I stop at about 1x per month randomly.
Today she gets a different box than normal no more expensive than usual. My 2 girls get a couple of individual wrapped heart shaped rice treats.

It's my wife's birthday today as well.. I get double duty!

In the 20 years I was in the Navy my dad only sent one piece of mail to me, It was a picture of the future Mrs. Billabong. He sent it early February 1990 I sent her a Valentines Day card that fortunately arrived on the 14th. We met face to face six weeks later (she was in Denver I was in Oceanside), married August 11, 1990. As always we will be enjoying a nice Lobster Dinner.
