Hi ladies - I haven't taken birth control pills for a long long time and out of the loop on which one or ones are best for high performing female athletes. Would love to get recommendations on which are good for low side effects on athletic performance. THANKS!

I've been on necon for years. YRMV
maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine
If you're injured and need some sympathy, PM me and I'm very happy to write back.

Read "Roar" by Stacy Sims or check out when she was on the Ironwomen podcast: https://soundcloud.com/...stacy-sims-phd-s3e12 She goes into detail about how contraceptives affect training and performance.

+1 for IUDs. And +1 to stacy sims.
I have had my IUD for over 2 years now and while I still have some menstrual symptoms, they are much more muted now.

Would also recommend an IUD. I am nearing the end of my second Mirena and plan to get another one when this one is removed.
