it's first thing in the morning where i am and my coffee hasn't kicked in, but i don't remember the ROLLR needing a power meter on the bike. There was an 'update' to the Rollr a while back that was extremely misleading. The claims were that it no longer required a power meter. The detail was that Wahoo had implemented a speed/power curve in RGT that allowed it to be used via BLE in this way. It was a power estimator. The neat part being it was still interactive (SIM and ERG). This was ONLY for RGT.
Zwift has something similar but it's only a simple speed/power curve and requires the Rollr to be paired as a speed sensor with an assigned profile. There is no control/interactivity (SIM or ERG) when used this way with Zwift.
