I believe you're thinking of the traditional tri relay of one swimmer, one biker, and one runner, which AFAIK is not the plan for the Oly relay. The Oly Mixed Team Relay (MTR) will in all likelihood be 2 males and 2 females, each of whom SBRs the whole super sprint course. This 4-person team is the usual ITU format for MTR.

100% it will be a mixed team relay with each athlete completing a super sprint triathlon before handing over to the next team member. Also, ITU is already half way through the olympic qualifying period, if she had any chance she would need to be racing ITU heavily from now to obtain the minimum points required for GB to even be able to consider nominating her for the team.
