I've ordered tires from them. Shipping was surprisingly fast, I don't recall the exact amount of time but it was about a week. I would be leery of a big ticket item like a trainer because of the return and support issues you mention. I know lots of people do it because the prices are so low but it's definitely a risk.

I had a trainer delivered last year and it got to Houston is something stupid like 3 days. No idea about support, haven't had to use it.

To TX as well. Actually ordered 2 at the same time. Boxes were taped together and came apart. After several trips to the post office, it was found. I wouldn't characterize it as typical though.
From previous threads, it seems support might have to go through europe for repairs if needed.
