San Juan, PR move
Transferring to San Juan, PR. Stationed there 15 yrs ago, familiar with the area but only ran and surfed at the time. I understand road conditions/traffic are not ideal for cycling, will continue to primarily ride the trainer.

Can any locals recommend riding routes, open water swimming groups, pools (Condado lagoon perhaps), and bike/tri shops? Looking forward to PR 70.3 and maybe St. Croix.

Thanks.

St. Croix 70.3 is a goner. Unless a new local race popped up to take its place.

St. Croix is being put on again by local organizers!

I've only visited San Juan a few times, but there always seems to be a pretty active tri crowd down around the lagoon area when I've been there. Great place for an open water swim. I've swam there, and run loops around the lagoon, lots of runners and I see quite a number of people on tri bikes. With the 70.3 there I suspect you'll have no trouble hooking up with others.
