Participate in Triathlon Research Study: CLOSED

Dear Triathlete:

You are invited to participate in a research study of the
characteristics and motives of those who participate in triathlons.
The goal of the research is to understand better those who participate
in this demanding activity. If you agree to be part of the research
study, you will complete an anonymous survey on the Internet at

By completing this survey, you are confirming that you are an adult at
least 18 years of age, that you have finished at least one
USAT-sanctioned triathlon, and that you are answering these questions
voluntarily. The survey should take less than 30 minutes of your time.
There are no risks or discomforts associated with your participation.
You may cease your participation at any time without penalty. Your
answers are anonymous and will be analyzed only for the survey sample
as a whole. Results will be available upon your request.

If you have any questions about this research study, you may contact

I participated - but I had a hard time with 'occupation'. Right now I am a full time student in grad school and working part time. This wasn't an option - I ended up just choosing 'student'.

Don't worry about that, it is fine. Thank you participating, I need more women for the study. The men are really outnumbering the study beyond what I think is their large dominance of the sport. Thanks again!

Hi Kathy,

The link appears to be down. I was curious to have a look into the survey, is there any chance to get the link up again?

Cheers,
Robert
