I've had those not sure changed on a whim decisions, usually that's when I get knocked out. I've been watching Amazing Race. I think it would be fun to play the same kind of game if we could get enough interest because the seasons overlap with Survivor. Maybe next season we can give it a try.

We tried the amazing race once but there wasn’t much interest. Can definitely try again as I watch both.

Yeah, that went as well as I could hope for. I thought they were going to vote Cassidy off and that would end my game next episode because no one to vote for. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Yeah she was impressive but winning that challenge meant nobody wants to take her to the end. She would win against anyone in a vote. They had no choice but to get rid of her.

That's always the conundrum in the game if you make it deep into it and have played well. You have to have an unwavering alliance with one person at least and preferably two. If you are on the radar you also have to have an immunity idol or advantage or win immunity when it's clutch to make it to that final three. There are still eight so it can still go a lot of ways. The only one I can see keeping their word is Gabler. Things can get flipped depending on what happens during next episode but I'm kinda feeling Owen and Karla might be prime targets.

That was a good episode last night.

Does anyone else think that Jesse is getting the winner's edit?

Feels that way a little. I am surprised that the Jesse/Cory alliance seems so strong still. If I am Cory I am starting to think I don't want to go against him in the final. Jesse has been a master orchestrator and if he gets to the final he will likely win.

I'm not sure. At this point I would be hard pressed to pick who the final three may be let alone the winner. What are you seeing with the editing that makes you think Jessie may be the winner?

Maybe I wasn’t paying attention but I never saw Cody give Jesse back the idol.

To my eye, Jesse's idol was a different colour than Cody's idol. But that doesn't make sense given how the votes played out.

If it was his own idol, why did he need to play it since he had the votes? Either he didn't know he had the votes, or he needed Karla to flush out her own idol. But if he's using his own idol and Karla plays her idol, then this risks Cody also playing his idol since he isn't in on the plan and would get spooked.

From a game play perspective, it might actually be Cody's own idol that got him out.

He must have, otherwise Cory would have played his, no?

If that is the case and Jesse is still holding another idol, he is going to the final and good luck winning against him. That move last night was brilliant. If he isn't immune at the next tribal he is gone for sure. Nobody will want him next to them at the final.

He sure did make his move.. He used Cody's own idea for a big move to make a bigger move against Cody. I didn't see him give it back either but he must have since Jesse had it.

Gabler? I thought he would be the first or second out.

That was a good finale. I was hoping for Owen to hang in there and Karla to get voted out and that happened. I did not see Gabler coming. It's like he came alive in the fire challenge ( Jesse was so pissed off at losing ) and then after eating he really seemed to get his mojo back at the final tribal council to plead his case. I wonder if the outcome would have been different if Cassidy had Owen and Jesse make fire?

I was surprised to see him even get a vote. It may be a function of editing, but he was far more liked and respected than I ever imagined. It felt like he just coattailed his way to the final.
