I got the "lucky" pop-up in the LR about 20-30 minutes ago, but I haven't had any problems with it popping up since then.

The issue is most likely you have your DNS set to use your internet provider's default DNS names. They use that information to provide you "enriched" advertisement. Try selected a different DNS such as 1.1.1.1 or OpenDNS.

to you all... i'm about ready to turn the ads on again. we should have nipped this in the bud. please advise if we've failed miserably. and as i write this it's 1pm PST on monday, so, please only say that you've gotten the popup if you got it AFTER this post i'm writing.

All:

Once you've been hit by it, you have the cookie stored in your browser settings and it'll keep firing. Please clear cookies / website data. If after that, you're still getting hit by it, please let us know where in the forums you were when it hit to see if it's a specific zone on site.

Yep. Went over to LR and clicked on the Midway movie review and blam, got hit with the pop up. Clearing history usually solves it.
