Lintaman minimalist

Some have asked about these shoes here. I just got a pair yesterday. I have the minimalist.

Just in the middle of an easy z2 long ride now. Will give a very brief impression based on two hours down and two to go...

Really comfortable. I’m coming from bont for reference. Also have had sidi and pearl izumi.

These are really adjustable...secure...and just comfortable. They seem to be well made. The carbon sole is flat and thick. Using the sole they have with them.

Most comfortable cycling shoes I’ve worn. Hands down. I used to get numb toes and pain in the ball of my left foot. Nothing like that with these so far.

I’m not pushing any big watts today though...so will update if that changes.

So far...best cycling shoes I’ve bought without a doubt.

Post ride. Best shoes I’ve had. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Great job lintaman!!

And for 150...super training shoe.

If you’ve had trouble finding shoes that work for you. Check these out. Worth it.

There was a thread recently where these were discussed and it was the first time I ever heard of them. I really like the looks and ideas behind them, and for the price, seems awesome! Glad to hear this review. Why do you say super training shoe? You wouldn't race in them?

I got mine too, but forgot to order the 4-to-3 hole converter.

Once I ride mine, I will post as well. My hope is that the mid-cleat placement will stop my hot-foot neuroma pain.

I probably will race in them. But they are probably a little heavy and bulky. Compared to my bonts they look like rectangular bricks on the end of my legs. They’re big but the heel adjusts in quite a bit. So the shoes themselves are a good bit longer than I need...but with the adjustability they fit just great. They just don’t seem like they’d be very aero. But since I’m only going to do one Ironman this year, I said they’re great training shoes because that’s pretty much all I’ll be doing with them...
