Critique my fit (Yet another)
Hi all,

Looking for any criticisms on my fit. I’ve done this myself with the little knowledge that I’ve read about from this forum and various articles.

I’ve attached some photos and a short video clip.

Edited to add: Having some issues uploading photos directly using my phone, so here is an imgur link.

Your saddle is high. Drop is about 1 cm and drop the cockpit the same.

Your are "periscoping" too much with your head.

Otherwise things look solid.

Thanks! I’ll drop the saddle. I was noticing more instability at that height. I’m unable to drop the front end any more, I’ve got no spacers underneath the bars, and I can’t take out the 10mm spacer under the stem as the integrated waterbottle would interfere with the front wheel. I might try to see if I can find some lower profile arm cups, as the current ones are quite beefy.

Then get shorter cranks (1 cm shorter). That reduces the reach to the pedals and doesn’t negatively impact armpad drop.

I'd lower the saddle with the cranks you have. You don't appear to be in danger of closing the femur/torso angle, so you will probably be fine.

Your head and shoulder posture is more important for aero than the drop. You have plenty of drop IMO, but may benefit from a little more reach and tilt. As for your head, turtle and shrug as much as you can.
