USAT Nationals in Cleveland - Parking
I'm registered for both races but never realized that we had to also prepay for parking if you want to be able to park near the start. Saturday parking is sold out but Sunday is still available. You will be blocked from entering/exiting the parking lot during the race but since the shuttle busses won't allow bikes it looks like the logistics have gotten complicated.

FYI, for the Sunday race I had to login to Active, find the Sprint registration then go to "Purchase Add-ons" and scroll to the bottom. The option is hidden after crazy expensive VIP service and the pre-purchase of event photos.

Look at the schedule of events, you have to check your bike in the day before your race. Just ride the shuttle. Seems like there are lots of options to pick it up.

In Omaha last year they were very dismayed that more people did not use the shuttles. I believe they had plenty of parking available, but there was a real bottleneck getting cars into the venue. So much so they delayed the start of the race. This seems like a good measure to force your hand to use the shuttle or pay a premium to park.

I plan on parking at the stadium. The ride over in a shuttle will only be a few minutes (maybe a few miles or so) along Lake Shore. Plus it’s free. Ride back on bike after race. Can take Detroit road if shoresay closed to bikes

Can't comment on Omaha but this venue has a limited amount of parking on site.
