Cinelli Spinacissimi Aero Bar - anyone tried these?

I'm thinking with my traditional setback roadie position these could work well, maybe. Curious if anyone out there has given these a test ride.

i think bicycling gave them 5 chainrings a few years ago.

they look good and that is worth more than 'real world' advantage.

yeah man. i had a set of those a few years back. mine were a very swank clear plastic. they were recalled for some reason, and now they are back! i liked them OK, compared to my spinachis. there are numerous little hooks and contours ( look at the little finger-hook thingie) that are nice to grasp. they are not as stout as a mainstream bar and you cannot be yanking on them mightily - you more use them as a aero rest spot with your weight on the forearms/bartop. you feel them more than a spinacchi tho decidedly less than an aero bar - but MORE than a slam bar. slams are more centered around the steering axis and let you road bike retain a more neutral bar-less steering responce. in truth, i can't see any real advantage to the spinchissimi's over a slam set up, and several advantages to the slam ( or profile jammer GT - same thing as slam) in a functional sense. the spinachissimis DO look pretty cool, tho - and if not for the slam/GT invention would be A-1 for road bikes no doubt. still - seeing them there makes me wish i had my old ones back, just for fun - they really did feel good. i wonder if they still make them in clear??
