Oh man... That SUCKS!!!!! I can't believe it. ONCE was a rock in the cycling world (as far as team sponsoship goes). I truly hope they find a new title sponsor before next season. And Banesto too...

But what about the pink jerseys?! Who will wear pink next year?

It's not like it's out of the blue though since it's been rumored for months. But yeah, it sucks. Could make for some interesting teams in 2004.

They are an organization representing the blind so they feel supporting the para olympics is more in their philosphy than supporting cycling. Makes sense. Giant has very deep pockets, so I'm sure there will soon be someone else to take over.

I guess Beloki has already been talking to Euskedel since he started his career with them. Further, I've heard that Beloki and Mayo may be talking to someone else also. That might be a strong line up for the mountains . . .still probably no better than an Armstrong and (insert your favorite) Beltran, Rubiera, Herras combination. Cyclingnews also mentions a possibility of Ullrich returning to Telekom. It would be sad to see Once go though, especially since I have an Once team bike :(
