My goals were 1-2x swim, 4 rides, 5 runs. Made them but the swim was really short. Eating didn't go all that well again - 5/7 - but I journaled a bit and am trying to get back on track. Sugar/fatigue has been the main issue as of late.

M - 9.5 mi run, 1100 yd swim
T - 30 mi bike, 6 mi run
W - 7 mi run, 8.5 mi bike
T - 13 mi run
F - 8 mi run, 10 mi bike, hip exercises
S - off
S - 8.5 mi run, 17 mi bike

TOTAL = 1100 yd swim, 65.5 mi bike, 52 mi run

goals for the coming week: run 6x (one speed), ride 4x (one vo2 max intervals), swim ?
academic goal = finish my stats course work for the summer. I have 2 chapters left.

last week's goals:
- do some walking: WIN
- go for a couple of swims: WIN with 3, two of which were OWS
- do some noodling around on a bike if i feel ready and it doesn't hurt my back: WIN. even did some harder efforts (though short) and have been fine with a minor position adjustment.
- continue to work w/chiro & exercises on sorting out SI joint issue: WIN. been a couple of days since it's been painful; just a bit tight still.
- a couple of short, easy runs toward the end of the week: did one 40min trail run in stupidly hot weather.

this week's goals:
- 4 runs
- 3 bike
- 3 swim
- 5 core/strength/rehab exercises from chiro
- back to business with training and nutrition. crap week is over!
- have fun doing the warrior dash with my sweetheart on saturday

cheers!

Last week: Run comfortably every day, stay healthy for Vashon (2 weeks), ride to work as much as possible, and get in more MTB riding. Friday is a stat (Happy Canada Day!) so I should have most of that day to ride yay! Also: cut back on the fatty foods/snacks and alcohol. Need to not gain any weight this summer, and would like to drop 5lb for my Sept marathon.
M: run 35'; ride to work (Done)
T: run 45' with strides; ride to work (Done)
W: run 1h; ride to work (Done)
R: run 45' with strides; ride to work (Done)
F: optional run with the dog; MTB 3hrs; optional swim (run and 3hr MTB done - felt good and didn't kill myself in the cleats)
St: run as I feel; optional MTB; optional swim (run done, optional "swim" done - basically did about 500m haha and realized my shoulder is still pooched, super weak - Vashon is gonna suck)
Sn: run 1h with the dog (not done - but I'm ok with that)

This week: OK I have Vashon in like 6 days and am getting worried. My shoulder felt so weak and "crunchy" when I was swimming the other day, I am quite worried. Thank god it's only 500m, but it's still going to be slow and sucky. I need to get to pre-ride the course too, so that will make for a stressful Saturday. Sigh. Why oh why do I do this to myself? ;-) July will also be the month of riding to and from work virtually every day. Hopefully it won't impact my running too much.

M thru F: ride to & from work; EeZee run at lunch with strides; stay loose and comfy.
W or R: one evening swim (after kids are in bed)
St: drive to Vashon, pre-ride the course, get comfy and relax if possible
Sn: XTERRA Vashon Island - have FUN and finish upright and smiling.

Funny Canuck speak... what's "stat" mean in this context? Holiday?
Not making fun - Maine has its own colloquial language :D

nice week for you on meeting goals.

statutory holiday, ie: our employers have to pay us for it while we go have fun, or have to pay double-time (or give time in lieu) if we work on it.

cheers!
