Looking for experience OPTICIAN
I am a partner in an ophthalmology-optometry practicein OKlahoma City. We have an onsite optical with two full time opticians, one will be leaving in the near future.
We are looking for someone, who first and foremost is friendly, and easy to get along with, and truely knows the meaning of customer service. This is by far the most important thing, and is the basis of our practice. We have employess who have been with us for over 25 years, and most have been with us at least 10, and I beieve this is because we have a nice low key work environment, where everyone gets along fairly well.

We would like to find someone with at least some experience, and good technical skills and knowledge. Someone who is comfortable working with new patternless edging equipment.
We stay fairly busy, and our goal is to gross into seven figures within the next 3-4 years, we are getting close now. Our compensation package is well above the industry norm, and we offer health and dental, and retirement annuity options with additional matching contributions from us, depending on whatever you put in.
Perks also include very good NBA tickets, and Sooner football tickets :) No weekend hours. We as an office usually take extra days or half days off around the major holidays.

We have what I would call a "high end boutique type"optical. We focus on very high end frames, and lenses. We dont do ANY discount vision plans. We have some frame lines that are relatively unique...We have a website that is currently being completely redone by a very respected web developer that works across the nation.
Our current site gets about 400-500 unique hits per month locally, an this is going up each month.

If are interested send me an email with your resume and contact info, and references or contacts, or if you know anyone who may be interested let me know.

Im a 25 year bike racer and former triathlete, now duathlete, 7 x IM finisher, and I understand if you want to take a few half days off to travel to races, or come in an hour or two late to do a long AM session. We , as employers are pretty easy going and understanding, I believe that is why we had had very little staff turnover in my Dads 40 years of working and my 11 years.
