$175 Newtons do not seem... (Asics Kayano 15)
That expensive anymore... just dropped $150 with tax on a pair of Asics Kayano 15s!!! $139.99 retail price.

First impressions...
Out of the box color does not seem that bad as in the pictures. Fit was a little bit better with snug heel and roomy toe box (compared to 14s) but you can tighten the toe box with the interesting lacing design. I didn't like it at first but after wearing it properly they lock the shoe better and even if you prefer a larger fit they prevent slipping. One thing I noticed rightaway is the increased suppert at the heel area (look at the picture and the gel size, it is noticably placed outside compared to old one) And I hope they will not blster after a first run.
She has a litlebit more flex i the mid foot area. Cushion seems right about the same as old ones. I will write some more after running couple of miles.

The spell checker for this forum is not very user friendly. Why doesn't F7 work here? And the shoes look pretty hot. Tim

Where did you spend that money? I paid USD 120 with tax in NYC a few days ago (Foot Locker). They had a nice "2008 ING NYC Marathon" Design for USD 75, too ...

They are officially on sale as of today but due to NYC marathon they had a special edition for sale $140 during the race week, I believe once the race week is over Footlocker put them on sale and they were only available in the local footlocker in NYC (and some other NYC shoe stores) Got to love the footlocker! they have to make room for basketball shoes... Today and this week they are at full retail price as $139.99 but will go on sale as the season goes. Also DS Traners are o the market for +10$ more! Their retail price went to $110 from $100 (color is much better) and altough I did not try them on in the store they seem to LOOK like a trainer rather han Performance trainer or lightweight trainers. Too many overlays and construction on the shoe but again I said i did not try them on they might be still light... Anyone want to purchase these at a lower price JamiePT should them ar footrx.com and I think he has a discount for ST users. Ask him the code by email, he posts here but might not get back to you due to holidays or if you are a member you can save some at Roadrunnersports.com they hav the full line Asics and Mizunos available.

What’s New?
The first thing revealed by a run in the GEL-Kayano® 15 is the lighter platform. At 12.8 oz., almost an entire ounce has been shaved from the previous version, primarily the result of improved Solyte® midsole material. The rear-foot features the largest heel GEL® Cushioning System yet used on the series for improved shock attenuation, while shearing forces are addressed by a more aggressively decoupled heel environment. As with the previous version, heel stability is maintained by the TPU plate placed directly over the silicone gel unit. The forefoot tooling features a new injected Solyte® cap placed directly over the forefoot GEL® Cushioning System. The advantage to injected Solyte® is a much more consistent density, ensuring that the desired softness is more ‘dialed in’ than standard compression molded midsole material. Injected Solyte® is also lighter than standard Solyte® contributing to the overall drop in weight.
The upper of the GEL-Kayano® 15 features Asymmetrical Lacing Design for the first time. This set-up represents the evolution of ASICS Biomorphic Fit by creating a more anatomically correct lacing pattern. On the GEL-Kayano® 15, the Asymmetrical Lacing Design is configured to wrap across the top of the vamp, creating a more open forefoot environment. The net effect is greater comfort and less potential for irritation. To complement the upper changes, Spacemaster mesh has been added to the tongue, promoting more effective moisture transfer and breathability.
Road Test
While the road feel of the GEL-Kayano® 15 is still relatively firm compared to a cushioning shoe, it will feel softer than previously, primarily due to the platform’s lighter weight and the forefoot injected Solyte®. Midfoot stability will feel enhanced as well. Upper fit will be unchanged in the heel, while the Asymmetrical Lacing Design will create a slightly more ample forefoot fit than the previous model.

Really? How do you expect to avoid me suing the snot out of you
when you violate my ®®?

I like the touch of the username change. :)

Reminds me of a discussion about sentences with too many and's.

Original: You can't have a gramatically correct sentence with an and immediately followed by another.
1st response: I think I see a space between and and immediately.
2nd response: I think I see a space between and and and and immediately.
