That was the title of an email I got around 11:30pm Friday night by one of the top AGers in the area, if not the country, referencing a sprint triathlon early the next morning. I didn't actually get the email until after the race.
Basically, he wanted to use me in the swim. I didn't even know he was in the race until he said hello standing at the water's edge right before our wave (#3 of 3) went off! I led the whole way in our wave, and got out in 10:55. He got out in 10:56, having been on my toes the entire way. Most of the top swimmers seemed to go about :40 faster this year than last, including myself. My drafter went a full 1:30 faster this year. We've been in the same races quite often over the last few years, but AFAIK never in the same wave.
He won the race by :27.
Congrats on another overall win to Bigbloke, aka Doug Clark.

Mark Cavendish has Gerald Ciolek, and I've got... you. Specifically, it's nice to have someone in your wave who is a decent size and who is slightly faster than oneself. I joined the 40+ brigade this year (big birthday not for months, but I don't make the rules) so I'm hoping you'll be at Sunset tomorrow. I'll be relying on you at Skylands.Basically, he wanted to use me in the swim.
