Snowing...
Last time I checked it's about a month into spring. Yet somehow I haven't managed to take my pretty new P2C (that I've had since November!) out on the road yet. I thought that this just might be my weekend, but apparently it's decided to snow instead. No it doesn't ALWAYS snow in Canada, but it looks like we're moving in that direction! hah
(and this weather makes me even more bitter with those of you at the camp grrrrr :P)

I live outside Seattle and it is snowing here too. I'll be spending 4 hours on the trainer tomorrow, again.

Portland checking in, Yup. Just a dusting, but I think it will be some trainer time today.

Maybe I will split it up with some house shopping on my cx bike. I have 5 hrs planned today, I have done that on the trainer, but I don't look forward to it.

Well I'm glad its not only Calgary getting the snow this weekend, theres about 30 cm of snow on my deck and they are calling for snow until Tuesday with another 5 to 10cm between and then. And we don't get above 0 until next Sat. I realize this is Calgary but even this is a little over the top we've had about 50cm of snow in April that has to be colse to what we got all winter. Yuck

Sorry.

We rode 2 hours with short-sleeved jerseys, shorts, no arm warmers and now a bunch of the gals are in the hot tub.

It's beautiful today in southern Ontario, once you get past the fact that it's southern Ontario (I've always thought I'd much rather live in BC than here, but maybe I should change my mind...)

Oh you would much rather live in BC! We may have had a little slow last night, but it's beautiful today (my computer says 8 degrees right now) and nothing on the ground. Definitely glad I don't live in Calgary!

This is why I spent 4 hours on my bike trainer followed by an hour on the treamill this afternoon. And this wasn't the peak of the storm either. It was incredible. Snow, hail, sun, hail, sun, snow, repeat.

It's snowing again?!? Wow! I managed to get my run in this morning in slightly overcast, cool weather. It was actually quite ideal.
Your pictures from yesterday remind me why I love the PNW (I have a hard time remembering that I live on the South Coast after all these years of reading Northwest Runner haha). The weather makes training a bitch, but I just love it!

...and aren't you getting ready for IMCdA? Eight weeks out and training indoors...ouch!

Guess I'll get no sympathy for the sunburn I got this weekend under clear skies in the mid-80's!

Yup, IM CdA. I have a 100 mile ride scheduled for next weekend and it says rain in the forecast. I'm telling myself it is too early to predict next weekend's weather but they had it right this weekend. Blech. I hate to think about a 6+ hour ride on the trainer next weekend.

I was sort of hoping for MORE snow this morning in Vancouver - I did the Sun Run 10km (first and probably last time) and would have been happy to have some nasty weather drive people away!

The snow on Friday was pretty nuts, but gave me a good excuse to sleep in yesterday - didn't want to risk hitting an icy patch on my ride so had to wait until later in the day.

Wow - 24 degrees and sunny here in Ottawa. I thought that Ottawaw got the snow and not Vancouver.
Went for a great bike ride here :-)

I just saw lightening. And, it's hailing. The world is ending outside Seattle.

Ooooh... the Sun Run. I have pledged that I will never, EVER do it! I don't like people anyways, I don't need 50,000 walkers trying to gain position on me haha. I wish Vancouver could actually take it slightly seriously. $3000 for the winner? And a 29:45 win? boooo

I dunno what's going on down there, but I'm glad it's not here! The news is showing Calgary... I'm especially glad I'm not there! Damn you global warming!

I got very fortunate over the weekend, it was supposed to rain ALL weekend and then didn't. So I got in a good long bike and run. However, being MI any given weekend right now could either be 70F and great, or 40F and rain, or even snow.
