- Strongman Japan The best race in Japan by far. It's the Japanese Kona or Roth. But it seems it will be cancelled in 2021.
- Sado Astroman They have both a long (a tad longer than Iron Distance) and a middle distance.
- Goto Nagasaki Baramon King Also long and middle. Was the venue for IM Japan for many years.
- Kaike Shorter swim and bike than Iron Distance. (the only one on this list that I have not done)
- Miyajima Woodman Middle distance with an A to B swim and brutal uphill bike and run. I love this race!
