Yup. Standard housing was better. I was trying the JagWire because I use the really minimalist 3t levers and was hoping for some improved feel but it didn’t work.

Interestingly enough, I found the same thing with my setup (3T knife levers). However, on my Felt Aero Road and UP I run link all the way from the bar to the brakes and the feel is pretty darn awesome. FWIW, on the Da I tried running link all the way and the UP and Felt Aero Road both have the initial run of standard housing required by Jagwire.

Now full disclosure the jagwire link was used on the Da to improve the feel of the crappy-in-hindsight original Omegas. A change to the OmegaX fixed all the poor feel on the Da front braking using gore housing.

Anyhow, I use Jagwire Link on all my builds except the Time Trial rig. Partially this is because I can get the housing to hold a shape better than the "floppy" links and when #aeroiseverything you care less about brakes.😉
