Not to get too technical, but "malware" is malicious software and child porn is sexually exploitative pictures of underage children. They are nothing alike.

Also what you're relaying is the Jones party line. It may be the truth. Or it may not be. Sounds plausible. Also there's no way to prove that an email was "never opened." Just because it's marked "unread" doesn't mean it is.
