Several options discussed in the above thread.

1. Strips of aquaseal (wetsuit adhesive)
2. Butyl inner tube stretched over the nose(s).
3. Self sealing silicon rescue tape.
4. Kt tape (as you suggested)

Or you can do the Tony Martin bloody crotch thing and try the skateboard tape.
