I'm considering buying this bike. My big open question is traveling with it. Can anyone on here comment on what's involved to pack it into a standard soft case like the Evoc Bike Bag Pro, which is what I have? How many bolts? Do you have to do anything crazy (like rerun cables)? How long does it take (first time, and then after you've done it a couple times)? Etc....

I don't really have store space for a big hard case like the Premier and don't really want to drop another $1000 on one of those crazy looking Scions that allow you to keep basebars mounted. I'm cross-shopping the SLX with the BMC TM01, where the whole front-end easily comes off thanks to their innovative "brake booster" setup. Concerns about traveling with the SLX are probably my biggest reservation (with the recall tire-clearance issue my biggest reservation on the TM01, which is arguably a bigger issue).
