Not an “encounter” but had a juvenile 5-6 foot great white swim under me three weeks ago, 5 minutes into my hour ocean swim, at Torrance beach in so cal

I dive and have seen hundreds of sharks. It was doing what most every other shark I’ve ever seen doing, just swimming along doing its shark thing

At that age/size they’re after rays mostly. If it was 10 foot I wouldn’t have continued....
