I’ve done Breck Epic and I would hope this doesn’t happen, the race has a great feel and the RD/organization are first class. In my opinion Ironman would bring zero value for the athletes and most likely drive the price of an already pricey race through the roof. FYI if you dig endurance mountain biking put this race on your list, it’s truly epic.
