I to date have not had any real or serious issues with my V3 pedals - I have read some things with people having some issue with them however. In my experience Garmin ultimately makes it right and chances are they have a lot more product on the market than other company's so there is more opportunity for them to be scrutinized.

My pedals link just fine, read power just fine and update/calibrate just fine. I have used them on my Trainerroad and multiple different head units at this point. I cannot comment on the battery life but I can say that I have had mine for over 40 days without any battery issues yet.

I am so far very happy/satisfied with the pedals
