Both had too little clearance between the mounting hole in the dropout and the strut for me to actually screw in the strut like it should go. It seems like the stylish curve going up and back is in the way. The Topeak was close, not quite.

Edit: To add that a frame bag might work, but I already got a nice pannier for my commute.
